Police Blotter Rewind: Employee Theft, Criminal Mischief at the Park

Several reports were taken Nov. 26 to Dec. 1 by the Urbandale Police Department.

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.

Nov. 26
A 71-year-old man reported three silver plated platters and a silver plated casserole dish were stolen from his home.

Hy-Vee reported receiving a counterfeit bill.

Bob Brown Chevrolet reported an employee theft.

An 18-year-old woman and a 18-year-old man reported being assaulted in the parking lot of the Urbandale Public Library. The woman reported her purse was almost stolen.

Nov. 27
Officers took a report that between Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 someone broke into a construction trailer in the 4000 block of 128th Street.

Nov. 28
Latricia Foster, 23 of Des Moines, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting.

Juan Guzman, 32 of Johnston, was arrested for violation of no contact order.

Nikolle Pargo, 31 of Des Moines, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting credit
card.

Nov. 29
A 60-year-old woman reported her GEO Tracker stolen. It was recovered at the Parkway Apartments.

Bradley Moeller, 40 of Des Moines, was arrested for OWI- first offense.

Joshua Roberts, 18 of Urbandale, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Nov. 30
Officers took a report of criminal mischief at Lions Park in regard to damage done to a snow fence.

Dec. 1
A 57-year-old woman reported damage to a mailbox in the 4100 block of Marylynn Drive.

Latoya Faalafula, 30 of Des Moines, was arrested for violation of no contact order and harassment of police officer.

Brian Klismith, 30 of Des Moines, was arrested for shoplifting from KMart. 

Eric Scruggs, 36 of Mason City, was arrested for possession of marijuana and operating while barred.
