Robot Boxer Film Becomes Most Popular Rental in Urbandale

Redbox's five most popular DVD movie rentals in Urbandale this week, according to Redbox.com.

"Real Steel," a film about robot boxers, jumps to Redbox's list of the five most popular DVD rentals in Urbandale. Think "Rocky" morphed with "Transformers" and you get the idea.

1. “Real Steel” In the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter loses his chance at a title when 2,000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots take over the ring. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to build and train a championship contender, for one last shot at a comeback.
