Police: Teen's Vodka Bottle Hidden in Pants Didn't Fool Anyone
An 18-year-old man had a rough week in Urbandale last week.

Jules Gould's Fourth of July could have been better. The 18-year-old Urbandale man was arrested on charges of public intoxication, shoplifting and being a minor in possession on alcohol.
Gould allegedly was intoxicated inside the Kum & Go convenience store at 12041 Douglas Ave., to the point that the store clerk called police.
When police arrived Gould was outside the store. Police found a bottle of vodka hidden in his pants, said Lt. Rob Johansen. The bottle allegedly was stolen from the convenience store.

Lodge management banned him from the property and notified police, who said they would file trespassing charges against him if he returned.

On Saturday, July 7, a clerk from Villa Lodge said Gould had come back to the motel and been told to leave, said Johansen. Later, the clerk reportedly found Gould trying to sneak back on the property.
"He may have some family who lives there," said Johansen.
He was arrested on a charge of trespassing and taken to the Polk County Jail.
