Police: Teens Set Fire Near Urbandale's Webster School

Three teen-aged boys were taken into police custody Wednesday after they allegedly started a grass fire near .
The boys were allegedlytrying to set off a Roman candle, which set dry grass on fire near the school, said Lt Rob Johansen. An area about the size of a car was burned.
Firefighters received numerous calls about the fire and we able to quickly extinguish it. Firefighters pointed out the boys who were at the scene to police officers.

Two West Des Moines boys, ages 15 and 16, and a 15-year-old Clive boy were charged with reckless use of fire or explosives.
