WHAT WE WROTE FEB. 29th:

In celebration of Leap Year, Patch has launched a 29-day contest in which every Patch reader can earn a chance at the cash and prizes just by adding their two-cents worth on Patch stories.

From now until March 28, you can comment on any Patch article or blog as often as you like. For each comment, up to 29 comments, you'll earn a lot in a drawing for a $100 gift card, a $29 bouquet of flowers from, breakfast for two (up to $29) at PerKup Cafe, etc.

There are a few rules: 

• The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia, who are 18 and older.
• Follow Patch's terms of use on commenting, which basically means don't cuss, call names or libel someone.  
• To enter, just comment on any Urbandale Patch article or blog for the next 29 days. You will receive one entry in the drawing for each comment.
• All entries must be received by 1 p.m. March 28, 2012 Eastern Time.
• Three winners will be selected in a random drawing. For example, one grand prize winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card. One winner will receive a gift certificate for a $29 bouquet of flowers from Plaza Florist. One winner will receive a gift certificate to PerKup Cafe for breakfast for two (up to $29 in value).

Every Patch article or blog has a comments section at the bottom, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to express yourself.

The winners will be announced in an article on March 29 and will be contacted by the email they used to sign into Patch.
