Thou Shalt Not Steal — Oops

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

Tuesday, May 1: A 19-year-old Urbandale woman reported that she believed a man she knew stole valuables from her car while it was parked at her apartment in the 4500 block of 86th Street.

Monday, April 30: Tools were reported stolen from the garage of his residence in the 4200 block of 67th Street.

Sunday, Aprll 29: A 55-year-old Urbandale woman reported that her purse was stolen from her car while it was parked at , 10850 Plum Drive.

The station at 8600 Meredith Drive reported that someone drove off without paying for gas April 29.

Saturday, April 28: A 47-year-old Urbandale man reported that a television was stolen in the burglary of his home in the 4300 block of 70th Street.

A 41-year-old woman reported burglary April 28 to her Westpointe apartment in the 7600 block of Buckingham Square. The burglar took her laptop computer and her tax refund check.

A 30-year-old Urbandale woman reported that someone broke into her Ford Explorer while it was parked at her apartment in the 4500 block of 86th Street and stole two spare tires on April 28.
