Trunk or Treat: Urbandale Police Offer Safe Place For Kids To Collect Goodies
As trick or treating trends toward safer places to get goodies, Urbandale police plan to host a trunk or treat event.
URBANDALE, IA. -- Police will be on the lookout for masked marauders and other costumed characters when they host a trunk or treat event on Oct. 26. Kids in the community are invited to stop by for goodies distributed by police and area businesses.
Snacks of popcorn, cookies and cider will be provided during the free event, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Urbandale Police Department, 3740 86th St.
Visitors can in turn "treat" the Urbandale Food Pantry by donating canned goods.
