Urbandale Burglars Caught On Video Breaking Into Home

Urbandale police are looking for help in identifying two men who broke into a home Saturday and were recorded on video during the crime.

URBANDALE, IA — Two men who broke into a home over the weekend were caught on video and noticed they were being recorded — but by the time one shut off the camera, their faces had been clearly displayed. And now police are seeking the public's help in identifying the thieves.

The men broke through a glass patio door at an Urbandale home on Briarwood Lane around 8 p.m. Saturday. Lights were on in the house at the time, police reported, but the homeowners were away at a funeral.

In the short video, one of the burglars is holding items that were reported stolen from the home.
