Urbandale Car Owners Did Everything Right

Here are police reports about the experiences of these two car owners.

July 15: The owner of a 2011 Nissan Maxima reported that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of his residence in Buckingham Square. 
The 33-year-old Urbandale man said his car was locked, his windows were rolled up and he had both sets of keys in his possession.

July 14: A 16-year-old boy parked his car on the street at his home. The car was locked but one window was down about an inch because of the heat. Someone used that inch of space to force the window down.
The thief took his change, his iPod charge, a 4-inch folding knife and his paycheck.
