Urbandale Church Hosting End of Life Forum

It is said that death is one of the two things we can be sure of in life, the other being taxes. Given the certainty of death, the experts are telling us that we need to become better informed about the issues that will confront all of us at one time or another.

For example, when it comes to the matter of healthcare what are the decisions to be made and who will make them?

And when it comes to planning a funeral, what are the questions to be addressed now in order to make it easier for family members to make decisions later?

Most of us have known family or friends who felt overwhelmed as they were being confronted with end of life` issues. Not surprisingly, nearly all of them would say that it would have been helpful if their loved one had done more to make his or her wishes known.

If you would like to explore such issues, you are invited to attend an End of Life forum at . The forum will be led by staff from Mercy Hospice – Johnston and a representative of Iles Funeral Homes.
