Urbandale Homecoming Week Schedule

Urbandale High School will be celebrating Homecoming Week Oct. 10-14 with a parade, daily themes for students to dress up, the crowning of a king and queen, a football game against Mason City and a Homecoming Dance at the school.

Here is the schedule for Urbandale High School Homecoming Week activities:

Monday, October 10

• Around the World Day

• Street Painting 4-5 p.m. in front of school on sidewalks leading to school

Tuesday, October 11

• Toga Day

Wednesday, October 12

• Character Day

Thursday, October 13

• Dress-up Day

• Coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen at 9:20 a.m. in the South Gym

• Parade at 6:00 p.m. on Aurora Ave.

• Community Pep Assembly immediately following the parade or 6:30 in case of rain, in the South Gym

Friday, October 14

• Pep Assembly at 2:40 p.m. in the South Gym

• Football game against Mason City at 7:30 p.m. at Frierichs Field. The Homecoming Court will be introduced before the game.

Saturday, October 15

• Homecoming Dance 8:30-11:30 p.m. in the High School Commons
