Fight at Hy-Vee Leads to Charges Against Urbandale Man

Four men were arrested in Urbandale last month on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, or drugs.

Tony M. Ellis, 56, of Urbandale was arrested on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct at the Hy-Vee Store on April 6. Lt. Rob Johansen said Ellis and another man were arguing inside the store. They went outside the store and were pushing each other when someone tried to break them up. 

James C. Harrison, 46, of Urbandale was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic abuse April 6 in connection with the an incident with  his 57-year-old girlfriend at an apartment in the 8700 block of Carole Circle. Police said he was throwing things around the apartment and grabbed the woman, leaving a mark on her. 

Haris Sabic, 20, of Clive was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct April 6.

Tyler M. Hellman, 23, of Urbandale, was arrested April 7 on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia after a small fire was reported at his apartment in the 2600 block Patricia Drive
