Urbandale Optimist Club Meets Tuesday

The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Urbbandale Middle School.

The Urbandale Optimist Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at , 7701 Aurora Ave.

The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Members create and conduct projects aimed at improving the lives of children.  Descriptions of some of those programs and videos of some of the activities can be found at www.urbandaleoptimists.org.

Members are a cross-section of the community ranging from 20 and 30 somethings, to middle age to retirees.

This is a dues-paying organization affiliated with Optimist International one of the major community service organizations in the country. Find more on the website www.optimist.org. It costs $15 to join and dues are currently $80 a year, which can be paid in full or in $20 installments over the course of the year.
