Lt. Rob Johansen said a tenant saw the pair going through various cars in the parking lot of Lakeview Apartments and called police. When officers searched their car, they found property stolen from three cars in it.
The burglary charges against them are aggravated misdemeanors, he said. Apparently the two knew someone who lives in the apartments, so the property owners asked police to serve them with trespassing notices. If either comes back on the property, they can be arrested for trespassing, said Johansen. Â
