Urbandale Police Raising Money For Plaque Honoring A Fallen Officer
The eagle statue "Vigilance" at the Urbandale Police Department will get a plaque and engraved star honoring fallen officer Justin Martin.

URBANDALE, IA -- Urbandale police are selling some limited edition items to help raise money for the eagle statue “Vigilance” that they plan to enhance in the future. the department will add a bronze plaque and engrave a star in the stone base of the monument to recognize Officer Justin Martin, who died in the line of duty last year.
The department is selling T-shirts for $15 and $17, tumblers for $20 and fidget spinners for $5.
All items are available in the lobby of the police department, 3740 86th St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

All proceeds from the sale of the items will go toward the monument.
