Urbandale Police Seeking Victims In Fundraiser Scam
A man claiming to represent a high school fundraiser through the "Moms and Dads for Kids" organization was arrested last month.

URBANDALE, IA — A Minnesota man who was arrested last month for ongoing criminal conduct and first-degree theft reportedly scammed numerous businesses in the area. Urbandale police are asking any others that may have fallen victim to Michael Gerken to come forward.
Gerken had been identifying himself as Bob Anderson as he solicited funds for a fraudulent high school fundraiser through the "Moms and Dads for Kids" organization.
Police are asking anyone that has had dealings with a group by that name or someone claiming to be Bob Anderson to call Detective Andy Morlan at 515-331-6816.
