Urbandale Pool is Closed Today and Saturday

Urbandale's city pool is closed for two days due to unsafe water conditions, the city's website says.

The pool was closed Friday and will remain closed Saturday, reopening at noon on Sunday, according to a voice message on the pool's answering machine.

Lee Ann Auxier, pool manager, could not be reached for more details late Friday afternoon. Her voice mail message said the pool was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. 

The pool is scheduled to have a winter carnival event on Monday as Urbandale schools are closed for a teacher in-service day.
