Urbandale School Fundraiser Will Have Kids Racing Around Webster
Webster Elementary School students are taking donations for the fifth annual Race Around Webster, a one-mile loop run on Oct. 12.

URBANDALE, IA. -- Webster Elementary School students will run wild Oct. 12 when they take part in RAW -- Race Around Webster -- for the fifth year. The one-mile-loop road race around the school grounds is a fundraiser organized by the Webster PTO.
The event started in 2013 in connection with Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative and to raise money for the school. More than 600 kids participated the first year and it's become a much-anticipated tradition among the students.
Kids raise money by asking friends and family to sponsor them. To make a donation, click hereto find the Webster event. You'll have to create an account to fill out the pledge sheet.
