Where Was the Best Place to Watch Urbandale Fireworks?

Did you find a great place to watch Urbandale's fireworks last night?

This is the second year the fireworks have been at Walker Johnston Park. City officials and members of the Urbandale Fourth of July Committee say you should be able to see them from many locations around town, but many residents, myself included, still are looking for the perfect spot.

Urbandale City Clerk Deb Mains has seven grandchildren whom she entertains on Independence Day and was trying a new place after discovering that her vantage point on Meredith Drive last year wasn't as good as she had hoped.
