- The New York lawyer who said he represented a trust that held a $14.5 million Hot Lotto ticket has withdrawn the claim on the ticket, according to DesMoinesRegister.com.  Iowa Lottery officials refused to pay on the ticket without the names of the owners of the ticket.
- Robert Brownell, Polk County Supervisor from Clive will seek re-election to  his new district, which includes Urbandale, according to DesMoinesRegister.com. Earlier this week, Urbandale Supervisor E.J. said he would not run.
