Will Urbandale Miss Worst Weather Tonight?
A band of severe weather is predicted across several Midwest states tonight, but so far weather forecasters say it will stay south of Interstate 80.
Expect a warm but cloudy day today, with a chance of up to half an inch of rain tonight in Urbandale.Â
So far, television weather predictors say the worst of a storm expected around rush hour tonight will stay south of Interstate 80. KCCI.com is reporting that there may be hail, lightening and winds south of the interstate.
The National Weather Service forecasts less than half an inch of rain with winds from north northwest between 11 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

The high today is predicted at 66, but temps will drop about 10 degrees on Friday, which is expected to be dry.Â
