Women Face Urbandale Police Charges After Disputes with Boyfriends Past or Present
Three women were arrested last week in Urbandale. All were angry with their boyfriends or former boyfriends.
The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.Â
May 10: Brittany N. Nussbaum, 24, of Urbandale, was charged with domestic assault with injury, a serious misdemeanor. Nussbaum is accused of striking her boyfriend in the face at an apartment in the 3600 block of Patricia Drive. When police arrived, the man had a cut on his lip and scratch marks on his forehead, said Lt. Rob Johansen.
May 10: Teresa J. Schulte, 47, of Ankeny, was charged with trespassing after she allegedly went to her 41-year-old boyfriend's apartment in the 7500 block of Canterbury Road. Schulte had been told by police previously not to return to the property becaause the man did not want her there.

When police arrived on May 10, she was at the man's door yelling at him, said Lt. Rob Johansen. She was arrested on a simple misdemeanor trespassing charge.
May 13: Rachael M.M. Clark, 21, of Urbandale, was charged with domestic assault with injury, also a serious misdemeanor. According to a police report, Clark was upset that her 24-year-old boyfriend was not returning her calls. When she found his cell phone inside a pillowcase, she allegedly struck him with the pillowcase with the phone inside it. Police arrived to find blood around the man's mouth and the pillowcase had dried blood on it.Â
