Aloft Gallery Hosts Art on the Farm This Saturday

If you're looking for a little culture to wrap up your week, you might think about heading out to the Aloft Gallery this Saturday. 

The "artist's gallery in a barn" is hosting Art on the Farm, an event showcasing local artists and their work all on the grounds of the LT Organic Farm in Waukee.

Wendy Rounds, artist and co-owner of Aloft Gallery, said in addition to the artist's displays, there will be art demos on wood carving, painting, glasswork, drawing and polymer clay; a kids' creation station; face-painting and an end-of-summer sale at the Aloft Gallery. 

LT's Restaurant, also located in the barn, will be serving a special lunch that day for attendees of the event.
