Gas Drive-Off Reported at Casey's Store: Waukee Police Reports

A vehicle driven by Vanessa McGuire of 1502 Park St., Perry, was eastbound on Hickman Road and stopped at a stop light at the intersectin with Sixth Street. Police said a vehicle driven by David Sloan of 1401 S. 15th St., Adel, rear-ended McGuire's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $2,000. Sloan was cited for failure to stop in an assured, clear distance.

Joanne Kaiman of Waukee reported a case of credit card fraud. Authorities did not release where the card was used or how much was illegally charged.

An employee of Casey's General Store, 1955 S.E. University Ave., Waukee, reported the theft of $59.90 worth of fuel. 

A vehicle that was legally parked in the 100 block of Southeast Laurel Street was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. Damage was estimated at $600.
