Gov. Branstad to Visit Brookview Elementary Next Week

Some students at Brookview Elementary School in West Des Moines will get a special visit from one of Iowa's biggest political figures next week.

Gov. Terry Branstad will visit with fourth graders at Brookview on Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. The Governor will spend about 20 minutes speaking to students there about leadership roles and attributes. After the speech, he will take questions from students.

This won't be Branstad's first visit to the Waukee School District. Most recently, on Nov. 6, he visited with third grade students at Maple Grove Elementary to talk about his role in the state's government.
