How to Get Rid of Your Old Clothes in Waukee

Sells: Gently used clothing for children in infancy through teen years, as well as maternity clothing and baby toys and equipment

Here are a few guidelines for selling your clothes on consignment:

• Consignment shops usually buy seasonal clothing, so think shorts and tank tops in the spring, and coats and pants in the fall.
• If the clothing is very outdated, it usually won't sell unless you're selling to a vintage store.
• If any clothing has missing buttons or threads sticking out, fix it before you go to the store.
• Wash the clothes and have them smelling and looking their best.
