More than 30 Trees Decked at Local Festival of Trees

More than 30 decorated Christmas trees will be on display at The Village of Legacy Pointe retirement community on Dec. 11.

The Village at Legacy Pointe invites the community to join the holiday spirit at the 7th Annual Festival of Trees featuring more than 30 decorated trees December 11, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

At this year’s festival, resident Neil Johnson will provide Christmas music on the piano while guests enjoy appetizers and admire the trees, which are uniquely decorated by local businesses. There will be a gift basket raffled off, with the proceeds going to Watermark for Kids which benefits local children.

“It’s such a hit every year,” said Tammy Olson, Executive Director at The Village at Legacy Pointe. “We’re looking forward to a lovely afternoon of snacks and celebrating with our friends and neighbors in the Waukee community.”
