At Westview Church 175 people had voted for or against a new jail or city administration building for Dallas County by late afternoon.
"I've been pleased with the turnout," said Marsha Schmidt, a polling official. "The volume in this precinct is 2,000 voters and we are getting up to 10 percent of voters, which is good."
