Police Arrest Waukee Men in Two Separate Incidents of Interference with Official Acts
Waukee police responded to two different reports Aug. 25 resulting in arrests for interference with official acts.

Waukee police were busy with back-to-back arrests in the early morning hours of Aug. 25.
Around 1:20 a.m., police were called to in the 400 block of Sixth Street on a report of a fight.

Once there, police attempted to arrest Cody Bailey, 22, of Waukee but he refused to cooperate. Officers said Bailey "pushed and pulled" away from the officers. Bailey was charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.
Later that morning, around 2:20 a.m., police were called in reference to a violent subject in the 1100 block of Southeast Mapleleaf Lane. While the investigation was underway, the subject, Travis Martin, 35, of Waukee, tried to leave the scene despite being asked to stay.

Martin was charged with interference with official acts as a result.Â
