Police Blotter: Four-Car and Car vs. Deer Among Accidents in Waukee
Waukee police responded to several call last week including three traffic accidents - one involving multiple cars and another a live deer.

Nov. 14
A vehicle driven by Nathan Keck of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Travis Davis of Urbandale when a third vehicle driven by Benjamin Wedemeyer of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Taylor Wingert of Waukee. Wingert's vehicle rear-ended Wedemeyer's vehicle pushing it into Davis and Keck's. Vehicle damage was estimated at $20,000. Wingert was also cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

Nov. 15
A vehicle driven by Allen Thomas of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Loretta Sieman of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $7,000.

A vehicle driven by Shawn Estey of Urbdandale struck a deer at the intersection of Hickman Road and Brick Drive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $3,000.
