Police Blotter Rewind: Accidents, Harassment, Theft and Possession
Missed something from last week's police blotter? Here are the reports again from the week ending Oct. 21.

Traffic Accidents and a Suspended Driver
Oct. 15

Beau Jordan of Adel lost control of his vehicle and spun into a ditch. Vehicle damage was estimated at $700.
Oct. 17

A vehicle driven by Timothy Voegtle of Des Moines struck a legally parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Mapleleaf Lane. Vehicle damage was estimated at $400.
Oct. 18
A legally parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 100 block of Southeast Windfield Parkway. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,700.
Oct. 19
Francisco Manuel Molina-Reyes of Perry was arrested and charged with driving while suspended.
A vehicle driven by Michele Baker of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Danika Ludwig of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $500.
Harassment
On Oct. 14, police responded to a call in the 400 block of Gray Avenue. An adult female alleged that she was being harassed via Facebook and through messages her phone.
The report did not identify the person suspected of harassing her.
Theft
A popular piece of Halloween decor failed to scare away thieves in one Waukee neighborhood last week.
On the morning of Oct. 16, a homeowner in the 400 block of Painted Woods Drive reported an object missing from his front porch. Thieves had allegedly snatched a scarecrow from the home. It was valued at $50.
No other damage was reported to the residence.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
A call to police about a sick teen turned into an arrest last weekend in Waukee.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 21, police were dispatched to Centennial Park on a report that a young man on the property was ill.
After speaking with officers, the teen was escorted to his vehicle where police allegedly found a water bong in the car. Police also say the car allegedly smelled of marijuana.
A 16-year-old male from Waukee was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was referred to juvenile court for the offense.
