7U (2011): Boys = 14 spots; Girls = 4 spots

8U (2010): Boys = 4 spots; Girls = 7 spots

9U (2009): Boys = 6 spots

10U (2008): Boys = 7 spots; Girls = 3 spots

2017-2018 5U-6U Recreational
Recreational is a team/league based program for players born between Dec 31st, 2013 and January 1st, 2012.
Registration Fees: $79 through February 19th; $104 after February 19th (can wave the late fee if new to VSA)
Practice/Game Times: 5U (kids born in 2013) - 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. on Saturdays 6U (kids born in 2012) - 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Saturdays

Spring Dates:

First Weekend of Games April 7

Last week of Games May 19
We will schedule 7 games but will not reschedule if 6 contacts occur.
If we have to reschedule, we will utilize the weekend of June 2

Description: The first half of each session is devoted to age-appropriate soccer activities (practice), the second half is dedicated to playing a game. The volunteer coaches are briefed on the activities they conduct with their teams prior to each session. Players go directly to their assigned fields and meet with their coach to practice the activities. Once the 25 minutes of practice concludes, the players will participate in a game.

2017-2018 7U-8U Recreational
The 7U/8U Recreational Program is a team/league based program for players born between Jan 1st, 20010 and Dec 31st, 2011.
Registration Fees: $99 - through Feb 19th; $124 - after Feb 19th (can wave if you are new to VSA)

Game Times: Games are usually held on Saturdays between 11:30am and 4:30pm, some Thursday night games are occasionally scheduled.

Spring Dates:
Practices can start March 26th
First Weekend of Games April 7/8
Last Weekend of Games June 2/3

Description: Volunteer coaches conduct practice once a week at a local green space with their team and then games are played on Saturdays (7 games total) in Waukee, Adel, and Grimes. Players will also receive 2 practices per season coached by VSA Staff and are eligible for other recreational clinics/events.

We roster players based off the school they attend which include but are not limited to Brookview, Des Moines Christian, Eason, Grant Regan, Maple Grove, Shuler, St. Francis, Walnut Hills,Waukee, and Woodland Hills.

2017-2018 9U-10U Recreational
The 9U/10U Recreational Program is a team/league based program for players born between January 1st, 2009 and Dec 31st, 2008.
Registration Fees: $99 - through Jan 22nd $124 - after Jan 22nd (can wave if you are new to VSA)
Game Times: 9U/10U Girls teams generally play on Saturdays. Some Sundays may be used for overflow. 9U/10U Boys teams generally play on Sunday afternoons. Some Saturdays may be used for overflow. They play teams in the Des Moines area and surrounding communities for away games.

Spring Dates:
March 26 - Practices can start
April 7/8 - First weekend of games
May 19/20 - Last weekend of regularly scheduled games
June 2/3 - Rescheduled games completed
