Two Waukee Alums Take the Field in CyHawk Showdown Saturday

Hawkeyes, Cyclones - Can't we all just get along?

Listen, I know this weekend's game is kind of a big deal. The Hawkeyes, the Cyclones - it's all anyone has heard these last couple weeks.

And you know what? It's dividing you, Waukee. Why do you have to pick a side? Can't we all just get along?

Yes. We. Can.

Even if we can't agree on a one team to cheer for, we can agree that supporting our Waukee alumni - whether Hawkeye or Cyclone - is a definite must do.

Keep your eyes peeled this weekend for Waukee's own Jake Knott, a senior linebacker for the Iowa State Cyclones. Look for Knott's number 20.

Then there's Walker Woods, a junior defensive back for the Cyclones. Woods wears the number 37.

So there you go, Waukee. The gauntlet has been thrown and I say, "Go Warriors!"
