Veterans Day: What's Open, What's Closed in Waukee

Offically, Veterans Day is Sunday but for most, observations will be held on Monday, Nov. 12.

All Waukee city offices will be closed today but will reopen Tuesday. Yard waste collection will continue as scheduled.

There is no mail service on Monday.

Most banks are closed today in observance of Veterans Day. Please call ahead to your bank for hours.

The Waukee Public Library is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but will reopen on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.

The Waukee Family YMCA will be open regular hours on Monday, 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

All Waukee Community Schools are in session. The Waukee Board of Education will meet Monday night at 7 p.m.

The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority will operate on a regular schedule on Monday.
