Waukee Celebrate Earth Day In Your Neighborhood

City employees will also take to the streets with their own "Trash Bash" on Friday, April 23.

April 12, 2021

April 22 is Earth Day! This year’s theme is “Restore Our Earth™”. Help restore your neighborhood after a windy winter by picking up trash. Free garbage bags can be picked up at City Hall (230 W. Hickman Road) April 19-23 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Grab a friend, or take the kids around your block to help clean up litter and debris that may have blown around your area in recent months. Wear gloves or use a pick-up stick if concerned about germs/chemicals.
