The Waukee Parks & Recreation Department has a great spring and summer filled with programs, activities, trips and festivals! Highlights include:

- Waukee’s popular festivals/events such as Movies in the Park and this year a THREE-day Independence Celebration
- Mini Sluggers T-Ball league and Parent/Child Blastball
- Youth camps including All-Star Sports, Art in the Park and Explore the Outdoors
- Youth education, cooking, tumbling and martial arts activities
- Special needs and adaptive sports activities
- Adult sports and activities including slow-pitch softball, pickleball sand volleyball leagues and bingo
- Adult trips to the Iowa State Fair and to explore Iowa Falls
- Yoga in the Park and Kids Yoga
