Waukee Seeking Exemplary Citizen Nominees
The honoree will be recognized at a public reception.

WAUKEE, IA — Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 16 for Waukee's citizen of the year. The honoree will be recognized at a public reception and is invited to participate in the Fourth of July and Celebrate Waukee parades.
City officials seek to recognize exemplary residents who represent the spirit of community service each year. Recent honorees have been community organizers Andy and Amy Walsh, civic-minded resident Frank Hoifeldt, community leader Terry Snyder and Waukee Hardware owner Geoff Warmouth.
Rules and nomination forms are available on the city's website or in person at Waukee City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Road.
