Will the Warm Weekend Stick Around?
Iowa's mild winter continues with a warm, rainy Monday. Temperatures should then drop throughout the week.
After an unusual winter weekend that nearly set records for warmth, Iowans can plan on one more mild day of drizzles before the temperatures drop back to normal figures.
According to the National Weather Service, tonight’s low will be an unheard of 51 degrees, accompanied by patchy fog and a 90-percent chance of rain. The likely rain should amount to somewhere between a tenth and a quarter of an inch and continue, off and on, into Monday.

- Monday- High of 51 with an 80-percent chance of rain. The warm spell ends Monday night with a low of 26 when the rain could turn to light snow.
- Tuesday - High of 32, low of 18. Breezy with no precipitation expected
- Wednesday - High near 27, low around 18.
- Thursday thru Sunday - temperatures remaining similar, no precipitation expected at this time.
