Chef Challenge in West Des Moines Pairs Best Buddies With Area Culinarians On Thursday

WEST DES MOINES, IA. -- Thirteen area chefs and their Best Buddy partners will take part Thursday in the Best Buddies in Iowa Chef Challenge in West Des Moines. The event is a fundraiser that will include more than 120 live and silent auction items for bids.

Guests will enjoy small-plate appetizers and desserts throughout the evening, along with a specialty drink bar. The program will feature remarks by Best Buddies Iowa Ambassadors and volunteer leaders.

The event will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Ron Pearson Center, 5820 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Parking is free. Tickets are $90 per person ($60 Young Professionals discount) or $1,250 to sponsor a table.
