Country Club in West Des Moines to Get a Face Lift

The Des Moines Golf and Country Club in West Des Moines is getting an update that will close a quarter of its holes this fall. 

The Des Moines Register reports holes No. 1-5 and 15-18 are expected to be closed started Monday until October. But, there's 27 other holes that will remain open, according to the report. 

A club official said bunkers, greens and tee boxes would be among the renovations. 

The club and course is located at 1600 Jordan Creek Pkwy.
