Watch Live Stream: Mike Pence To Campaign For Donald Trump Tuesday In Iowa

The GOP vice presidential nominee will appear outside of Des Moines on Tuesday afternoon.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential nominee, will campaign for Donald Trump on Tuesday in Newton, Iowa, as the campaign looks to stop the near nosedive Trump is taking in polls following a disastrous past two weeks.

Pence will hold a town hall event on the Newton campus of Des Moines Area Community College at 3 p.m. Central Time. Doors open at 1 p.m.

It's the only event for the Trump campaign this week in Iowa, a critical swing state in November's general election. KCCI says it will have a live stream of the event as soon as it begins. Click here for more information about that.

Those polls, though, included none taken following the release of a tape containing leaked audio of Trump bragging about sexual assault that was released Friday.

In other state and national polls conducted after that release, Trump has been in a near free-fall, as top GOP leaders continue to abandon him in support of down-ballot races.
