Mills Civic Parkway Patching Project Continues Throughout the Week In West Des Moines

WEST DES MOINES, IA -- Dry and cool weather should help crews get patching work done on Mills Civic Parkway this week. A seven-block section of the street closed this morning and will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16.

Keeping the roadway closed will significantly reduce the total time needed for repairs, city officials said. Mills is closed from 81st to 88th streets.

The posted detour is 81st Street to Bridgewood Boulevard and back to 88th Street. City officials ask drivers not to use Coachlight Drive as a connector in place of the planned detour route.
