No DART service on Memorial Day

Regular weekday service to resume on Tuesday.

The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) will not operate bus service and administrative offices will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2019. Regular weekday service will resume Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

For the rest of the holiday weekend, DART will operate regular Saturday and Sunday hours. This includes extended hours for the D-Line, DART’s free downtown shuttle, to serve people traveling to and from the Downtown Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 25. D-Line service is available on Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Oct. 26, 2019.

DART is continuing to provide free rides to anyone who boards a bus with a bike through the end of this month. More information on the Bike Month promotion is available on DART’s website.
