Possible Rain Tonight - A Concern?

According to the National Weather Service, Des Moines and the surrounding area may see light rain Sunday night.

Precipitation is likely but it’s not expected to exceed one-tenth of an inch. Better yet, temperatures should stay around 35 degrees, making it unlikely for roads to become slick.

The rain should be over before sunrise and could lead to some fog in the early morning Monday before clearing up on it’s way to a breezy (17-24 mph winds) 41 degrees for a high.

There is no precipitation anticipated throughout the week’s forecast.
