Top Job Services presents the second annual Tour de Fur
Come pump some pedals to help central Iowa's homeless pets!
This year's ride will start and end at Fox Brewing, with several rest stops along the way, including Sullys Irish Pub, 515 Brewing Company, The Blazing Saddle, and Exile Brewing Co.. Enjoy a complimentary chair massage from HealthSource of West Des Moines at Water Works Park and refreshments at Windsor Heights Dog Park — and don't forget to toss your name in the drawings at the start!
Registration is from 11 a.m. to noon, and the ride officially kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Advance registration is $20 and includes drawing tickets. T-shirts will again be sold separately, starting in late July.
All proceeds benefit Furry Friends Refuge animal shelter. The nonprofit has built Iowa's first and only no-kill communities in West Des Moines, Clive, and Urbandale, meaning more than 90 percent of animals leave the shelter alive.
