The Truth about Driving for Uber as a female

True comedy stories from a female Uber Driver, Gina Olivieri and tips on how to be a successful driver. My Car as a Cab.

I am an author, Gina Olivieri. I have been driving for Uber in the Council Bluffs and Omaha metro areas for over 2 years part time. This job was not at all what I thought it would be. Many commercials and people convinced me that this would be a high paying job. Just the opposite is true. Not only do I work for pennies; but I get treated like crap by a handful of passengers. There are decent passengers out there, but so few that I can remember everyone's name and personal interests who treat me like a human being.

I had compiled a journal full of entries from true stories resulting from frustrations on the job. As a result, a comedy book was born. My raw, uncut, unfiltered views started building from page to page. The frustrations turned into funny circumstances that could only be experienced as a female driver.

My passion to share these stories prompted me to keep writing and writing.....Finally, I created a book. The first part was all about what passengers did in the car. The second part ended up being about advice how to become a successful driver. All of my mistakes were pointed out, which makes it funny as well.
