West Des Moines Adult Ed: Register Early For Class Fee Discount

Cook new foods, try new exercises or experience a new activity through adult education classes.

WEST DES MOINES, IA — Whether you want to be ready to dance at your wedding or plan your retirement, adult education courses in West Des Moines can help. Registration is now open for the winter and spring courses that will be offered through West Des Moines' LEARNwest program.

The adult education opportunities range from health and hobby to skill-building and business-planning courses. Sessions include ACT prep courses for students and arts and crafts, computers, dance, finance, food and nutrition, personal growth and wellness classes for adults.

An early registration discount of $5 is available for any course registered for at least two weeks before the class start date. The online registration prices automatically reflect the discount at sign-up; mail-in registrations must be postmarked at least two weeks before the class start date to qualify for the discount. You also can register in person from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Learning Resource Center, 3550 Mills Civic Parkway.

All course registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until a course is full. Find class listings online; catalogs are no longer printed.
