The West Des Moines Forecast

The National Weather Service expects that central Iowa’s moderate winter temperatures will continue for a few more days as last week’s snow keeps melting.

The week’s forecast for the metro area looks like this:

• Monday - foggy with a high in the mid 30s and an overnight low in the low 20s.
• Tuesday - mostly cloudy and breezy with a high around 40 and a low in the high 20s.

• Wednesday -clear and breezy with a high in the mid 30s and a chilly low in the single digits.
• Thursday - mostly sunny with a high around 20 and low around 10.
• Friday - High in the mid 30s, low around 20.
