Video Catches Deer Jump Over Dog Outside Kansas Home

A home surveillance camera in Kansas captured a scene at the front door that showed a deer jumping over a dog.

The video, captured at a home in Olathe, Kansas, shows a fast-moving deer jump over the family dog, shuffle around at the front door before running back to the roadway. All the while, the dog doesn't seem too bothered by the intruder.

The homeowner, David Coen, told Talk 1170 Radio that the scene was captured on video in late December. Coen said it was his 2-year-old granddaughter who noticed a noise on the porch.

Speaking about the dog, 10-year-old black lab Jade, Coen joked to the radio station that she is a great guard dog who "doesn't react at all."
