9-Year-Old Fatally Shot In South Wichita, Reports Say
The shooting reportedly occurred on Monday morning.

WICHITA, KS— A 9-year-old boy was fatally shot on Monday morning in south Wichita, according to reports.
Authorities responded to the Willowood Mobile Home Park on E. MacArthur at 8:45 a.m. to find the boy with a gunshot wound, KWCH12 reports. The boy, who was not a resident of the home, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
Five juveniles, between ages of 9 and 16, were in the residence during the shooting, according to WIBW.

The incident is under investigation and police did not confirm if the shooting is suspicious, WIBW reports.
